kaufmann-2-microIngredients:

1/2 cup uncooked quick oats (Oats are on Kaufmann 2 of the Kaufmann Diet)
1 pinch salt
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (or any spice you like)
1 – 2 Tbs dried unsweetened fruit – Cranberries, Strawberries or Blueberries
1 – 2 Tbs Almonds, Pecans or Cashews

Directions:

To make your oatmeal jar, layer oatmeal, salt, spice, fruit and nuts.

Make as many as you’d like and store in a dry area.

Mix it up and have fun with it. Be mindful of the fruits and nuts you use, keeping them Kaufmann 1 and Kaufmann 2 will be better for you.

To Cook:

Pour 3/4 cup of boiling water over oatmeal and stir. Be careful – the jar will be hot.

Let stand for 4 to 5 minutes then enjoy.
