Make a Menu

Plan your meals out for the week in advance. This way, there is never any question about what’s on the menu, and no question about whether you are going to eat food that isn’t on your diet. Make multiple, full-week menus that you can rotate; this will help you shop more efficiently, saving time and money and ensuring a clear path to success on the diet. 

Food Prep

A little preparation goes a long way. This can mean chopping up fruits and vegetables for storage in the fridge, or cooking meat in bulk one or two nights a week so you can top salads with your protein of choice. Having foods ready to eat in the fridge is a good strategy that will help prevent you from stopping at a drive-thru on the way home from work. 

Have Your Groceries Delivered

Grocery delivery has become a very popular tool; it’s prevalence too has made it an easy, affordable way for having fresh food delivered to your house. There are many platforms that offer this service, and monthly subscriptions rates are are generally so low that for those people who feel like they are too busy to go to the grocery store, any barrier to having fresh food in the house in generally removed. Often, you can set up recurring grocery lists to be delivered on a regular basis, ensuring you are never without foods you need for your diet. 

Carry Your Food With You

One of the most common reasons people slip up on the diet is not having healthy food available on hand. Becoming a food carrier––whether it is packing your lunch, carrying snacks, or stocking your office or place of work with healthy foods that are on your diet–-is a sure way to always have food on hand. Many of the foods on The Kaufmann Diet are very portable too, whether its nuts, or green apples, carrots, celery or packs of nut butters, there is no excuse not to have food on hand at all times to prevent you from slipping up on the diet.
