Short of ever “knowing the cause,” scientists have just discovered that diabetes is linked to a higher risk of cancer. Their statements that “our results provide further evidence that abnormal insulin and glucose signaling may contribute to cancer initiation and development” clearly demonstrates two things:
1. They have noticed this link for a long time
2. They really believe that “glucose signaling” is the link. With all due respect to researchers, could it be that fungus causes diabetes and cancer and THAT is the link? Why is it that this subject of fungus is avoided so carefully in science? Now that the bats, frogs and honeybees are all but extinct thanks to fungus, do you think just one of these brilliant people would begin to understand?.
