Ingredients:
6 slices bacon (chopped)
½ cup chopped onion
1 head of cabbage (cored & cut into thin wedges)
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Place bacon in a large dutch oven. Cook over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside.
Sauté onion in the bacon grease until tender. Add cabbage and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring until cabbage wilts, about 15 minutes. Stir in bacon.
