This Alfredo Sauce recipe is Kaufmann 2 approved and is very versatile.
4 tbs. butter
6 Cloves of garlic, minced
4 ½ cups chicken broth
1-½ cups heavy whipping cream
¾ cup shredded pecorino cheese
Black pepper to taste
3-4 tbsp. tapioca flour (make a rue by mixing in tapioca flour in a little water)
Heat your skillet over medium/high heat and melt butter.
Add garlic to melted butter, and cook 1-2 minutes, just until fragrant.
Add broth, heavy whipping cream, and black pepper to skillet. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, add pecorino cheese and mix until combined.
Add tapioca flour rue 1 tbsp. at a time until desired consistency.
Tips: You can add veggie noodles; lentil noodles, chicken, shrimp, and spinach to alfredo sauce and create your own Kaufmann friendly meal.
