A New Vaccine

New Vaccine

It takes 10-15 years to develop a new vaccine

According to The New York Department of Health:

“the creation of a vaccine involves scientists and medical experts from around the world, and it usually requires 10 to 15 years of research before the vaccine is made available to the general public.”

How is it then, that these scientists and experts are now telling us that a Corona Virus (COVID-19) vaccine should be ready to test in 90 days. Really?

I’m certainly no expert, but the first step in developing a vaccine is getting the genetic sequencing from the disease-causing germ-in this case COVID-19. Once that sequence has been developed a digital map of the DNA gene sequencing is made. Imagine the work and testing that must then be done before a human is ever injected with a synthetic version of the original germ!

Here is where I get lost. It seems that someone had this germ sitting around for a long, long time. Long enough to do DNA gene sequencing on it and prepare it for vaccination.

Here is where I get concerned. If this rushed to market vaccine is available within the next few months and becomes globally mandated, then this certain someone might have been able to brilliantly create global fear and then capitalize on it for profit sake. Rush to market then rush to bank. Is that OK, considering that all vaccines have associated health risks?
