|I love the holiday time that is quickly approaching! However, as the mother of 3, I also take a deep breath and know that it’s going to be a little crazy! Holidays can be such a stressful time for women. We take on so much and leave little time for ourselves to even take a breath.|
There are a few things we can all do to help relieve some of the stress during this time. For one, it is one of the hardest times to stick to your diet, but doing so will help you feel good and keep your mind clear. I know when I let myself indulge in something, I don’t feel as well. My mind can get a little foggy, which is why it’s best to just avoid bad food as best we can. Secondly, try to prepare things ahead of time. That helps cut down on the last minute panic in the kitchen!
Finally, I think the best thing you can do is to make sure you sit and relax each day. Let yourself enjoy the holidays, as well. The dishes can always wait a little while, and the house can be picked up a little later. (I know many of us can’t stand the thought of that!) Honestly though, I figure the kids will always remember these special times, and I want them to remember me being a part of them, not slaving in the back ground. So take a deep breath, and just relax a little this year! Happy Holidays!
