Ingredients:

Green Apples
Unsweetened Chocolate (bar or chips)
Xylitol or Liquid Stevia
Chopped Nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds)
Popsicle Sticks
Parchment Paper

Directions:

Wash apples, dry off and insert popsicle stick into each apple.

Chop or break up chocolate and slowly melt in a double boiler until smooth. Add xylitol or stevia to taste. This chocolate is bitter, you will need to use a lot of your sweetener of choice.

Let chocolate slightly cool so it sticks better to the apples.

Dip apple in chocolate and swirl around. Let excess drip off and dip again if needed.

Before chocolate on apple hardens, dip in chopped nuts.

Place on parchment lined tray or baking sheet and put dipped apples in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to harden.
