Has Know The Cause Made an Impact?

I have no axe to grind with Hostess Brands, short of believing that their products cause health problems in those who choose to eat them. They’re a strong company with annual sales of about $2,000,000,000, they operate in 49 states and they employ about 19,000 people. I’d call that hugely successful. If they made nutritious products, I might invest in them!

  As some of you may know, I recently learned that Know The Cause has a viewing audience significantly larger than I ever expected, or dreamed of, for that matter. I have to wonder if our show had some impact on your decision to avoid white bread and sugary treats.

Hostess Brands, the maker of Wonder Bread and Twinkies is once again (they did this 2 years ago, also) filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Seems low sales is one of their problems.

When was the last time you had a Wonder Bread sandwich or a Twinkie?
